And it still doesn't really settle at all with ones noggin.

Each time i look at the table, i start around 6th position and then move up. Its a totally unnatural concept to aim the eyes at 1st in the league to start with.

and then grinning kicks in.

I didn't realise until I had downloaded the tickets for yesterdays game that they'd moved me.

Was going to complain but they've put us 10 rows from the front right on the edge of the Club London seats. I'm about 20ft from Moyes' technical area.

There were quite a few of us in that position last night- first night in those seats and it was great to create our own bit of atmosphere which has been missing in the new place since we moved there in the seats I've sat in. A bunch of proper miserable old cunts used to sit in front and look back scowling every time you swore.

I think I got moved because I started a big old row with the stewards last time we played spurs. They were quite posh seats and the seats in front were only ever full for 'big' games. It looked like a tout or Thomas Cook had block booked them for some 'visit London and take in a Premier League match' type bollocks.

A bunch of tiddlies sat in front of me in spurs shirts and it was a straw that broke the camel's back moment for me.

I wasn't going to beat anyone up, in fact it was the stewards that I was annoyed with most, the ones in the white coats who can actually do something beyond hold a stop/go sign.

I attracted about ten of them and must have come pretty close to a ban. Loads of fans (and even stewards) talking me down. The tiddlies got moved anyway and I'm in a much better seat. Result.

I had a great night last night and if it's given me Covid AGAIN it was not a bad one to go out on but it wasn't an ENTIRELY care-free night.

Joined Google Pay (which I didn't want to do) and downloaded the tickets to the wallet then my phone was too big to go into the reader! Turns out that the whole thing has been set up for iPhones (according to the ticket office).

Did that happen to anyone else? I've got a Sony Xperia 1 mark 2.

Had an excellent night in the stadium. Spoke to many happy hammers before & after the game. Superb display by the whole team, 3 points, 4 great goals, Antonio breaks the record and we end the evening top of the league.

And of course a great atmosphere. COYI

Zico - can't argue with any of that. They've certainly clicked as a unit these first two games. If Lingard does sign he will have to wait his chance if Moyes does the right thing.

Maybe it's the thought of him joining that has spurred them on.

It was meant as a compliment as I think he can get even better. Quite a few of that squad aren't even at their peak and Benny is amongst them. Sp pleased wew have brought in players from a lower division or standard and they are learning and improving. Fornals has made an incredible jump from what he started out as, and I'm really pleased that Bowen has refound his form after trailing off a bit last season.
